A deluxe edition of Death By Design will be released alongside the Warheads On Foreheads
Among the many musical anniversaries celebrated this year, Megadeth will be celebrating 35 years as a band. They have already announced the 35-track compilation Warheads on Foreheads and now there's more news: the comic book Death By Design Heavy Metal magazine .
The graphic novel will have 350 pages, with stories inspired by the songs on the compilation. The artists involved are some of the biggest talents in pop culture and comics worldwide.
For example, actor Dan Fogler wrote a story for "Rattlehead." This is illustrated by Andy Balanger , the Canadian creator who worked on Swamp Thing .
Dave Mustaine commented on the release: “I always fantasized that Megadeth should do something glorious, electrifying, and disgusting. I hope everyone enjoys the comic book as much as I enjoyed working on Heavy Metal .”
