This version was recorded in 2022 to celebrate Judas Priest's induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame . Until now, the cover was only available on Amazon Music , which curated this and other covers related to Hall of Fame nominees.
Judas Priest was finally recognized with the 2022 Musical Excellence Award and officially inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The ceremony featured a performance by the band, including current members ( Rob Halford , Ian Hill , Scott Travis , and Richie Faulkner ) and former members KK Downing and Les Binks . Guitarist Glenn Tipton also attended the ceremony but did not perform live due to his Parkinson's diagnosis.
The artists nominated for the 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Iron Maiden , Rage Against The Machine , and Kate Bush ( see the full selection here ). Voting will be open to the public until April 28th.
