In a birthday post made this Thursday, the 13th, Dave Mustaine confirmed that James LoMenzo as bassist for the second part of Megadeth
LoMenzo returned to the stage with Megadeth in August for the first leg of The Metal Tour Of The Year , following David Ellefson 's dismissal due to a sex scandal allegedly involving a young minor.
In his Instagram , Dave Mustaine wished his colleague a happy birthday and confirmed that the date will be "celebrated with the fans" during the tour. "Wishing you all the best, brother," Mustaine wrote.
James LoMenzo was with Megadeth from 2006 to 2010 and returned specifically to participate in The Metal Tour Of The Year . A new permanent bassist has not yet been announced.
