Megadeth has announced an immersive event called Let There Be Shred to celebrate their upcoming studio album, which will be the band's final.
The full-day experience is scheduled for January 17, 2026, in La Vergne, Tennessee (USA), and promises to bring fans closer to the group like never before. The event is expected to last approximately 10 hours and is only for fans over 18 years of age.
In addition to the presence of all current members , Teemu Mäntysaari, James LoMenzo, and Dirk Verbeuren , the experience includes not only an advance listening session of the new album, but also an acoustic performance by the band. It also includes a Master Class with the musicians, a Q&A session, a chat about guitars with Dave Mustaine and a Gibson executive , immersive photo experiences, exclusive merchandise, and a buffet dinner.
However, this unique opportunity for fans to experience the band's final moments up close comes at a high price. Tickets cost US$950 (R$5000 at the current exchange rate, excluding fees). More information is available on Megadeth's official website.
This event is part of a series of activities leading up to the release of the self-titled album on January 23, 2026. The initiative reinforces the band's intense farewell schedule, which also includes tours and a documentary to be shown in cinemas.
