Megadeth changes setlist for the third time on new tour; see the changes.

The band has changed the songs in every performance so far.

Megadeth is back on stage with the Metal Tour of the Year . In addition to having James Lomenzo replacing David Ellefson on bass , the band has also made changes to the setlist: in the three shows performed so far, the selection of songs has been different in each one.

The grand return took place last Friday , the 20th, in Austin, Texas. According to data from Setlist.fm , the band performed 12 songs at that show: “Hangar 18” remained the opening song for all subsequent performances, while “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due” was responsible for closing the shows.

After that, there were changes in the order and songs chosen. On August 21st, the tracks “Take No Prisoners”, “The Conjuring”, “She-Wolf”, and “A tout le monde” were added to the setlist, replacing “The Threat Is Real”, “Sweating Bullets”, and “Mechanix”, but were not repeated the following day. On Sunday the 22nd, the songs “Wake Up Dead” and “In My Darkest Hour” debuted on the band's current tour.

Megadeth is a confirmed act for the next edition of Rock In Rio. The event is scheduled to take place in September 2022, learn more here .

By then, the band will likely have already released The Sick, The Dying And The Dead , their new studio album, which is in the final stages of recording, with Dave Mustaine recording the last vocal takes in early August .
