Mustaine speaks on Twitter

Megadeth's show in Paraguay on the 20th was cancelled after five songs due to security concerns. According to reports from the event, the security barricades in front of the stage were broken and several fans were injured.

Dave Mustaine tweeted shortly after the show:

"Dear Paraguay, after three barricades were broken and hundreds of fans crushed three security guards, nearly killing one fan, we regret to inform you that we had to cancel the show.".

Please understand that your safety is just as important as ours, and after the security guards fell into the gap, someone ran onto the stage, threw a bottle, and we will inform you as soon as possible when we can reschedule the show and return.

This is beyond our control, and we will ensure that when we return, we will have different locations, security personnel, and producers. Again, I'm very sorry.
