The lead singer was diagnosed with throat cancer.
Dave Mustaine , vocalist of Megadeth , announced this Monday, the 17th, that he has been diagnosed with throat cancer and has now revealed that, due to the treatment recommended by his doctor, it will be necessary to cancel all of the band's shows in Brazil.
"Mercury Concerts is saddened by the sudden news regarding Dave Mustaine's health and joins his family, friends, and millions of fans worldwide in praying for the artist's speedy recovery and the return of Megadeth performances as soon as possible," said the São Paulo show's production company in an official statement.
"As soon as the new band is defined, its name will be announced to everyone and new information will be released," Mercury explains.
