New album to be released in March 2019
The legendary Meat Puppets have announced that they will return in 2019 with their original lineup.
The band revealed that they will release the successor to Rat Farm (2013), the first with drummer Derrick Bostrom , who left the group in 1996, shortly after the album No Joke! (1995).
Dusty Notes will feature Bostrom alongside brothers Chris and Curt Kirkwood , and the first track from the project has been released. “Warranty” can be heard below.
The Kirkwood brothers have been active since their 2006 reunion, but this will be the first time the original lineup has reunited in 24 years. Meat Puppets was originally formed in 1980, and since then, several reunions have been attempted.
