The original Meat Puppets lineup includes Curt and Cris Kirkwood and Derrick Bostrom
Meat Puppets have released their new album, Dusty Notes .
This is the first album since No Joke! in 1995 with the original lineup . It includes brothers Cris and Curt Kirkwood and the return of drummer Derrick Bostrom .
The album also features keyboardist Ron Stabinsky and Curt's son, Elmo . Elmo's guitar playing complements his father's perfectly.
Curt describes the new songs as "simple, yet engaging." He also said that he can "ignore the vocals and listen to the other guys playing. They're so good."
