Meat Loaf 's death has shaken many heavy metal fans who enjoyed his work on the album Bat Out Of Hell . After the first week and the shock of mourning, radio host Howard Stern publicly commented that he hopes for a statement from the artist's family in support of vaccination.

Although the cause of Meat Loaf's death has not been released, TMZ website claims that the artist was "very ill with COVID-19," which, combined with his age of 74, would have aggravated his health condition.

Expressing outrage, Howard Stern implied that Meat Loaf had strongly refused to be vaccinated and expressed his desire to see the family regret what happened and admit that a mistake was made.

“Poor Meat Loaf got sucked into some kind of weird cult,” Stern reportedly said live, according to Mediaite . “And somehow, he actually believed in it. He made a statement, ‘I’d rather die a free man than take this vaccine.’ And now he’s dead!”

“I wish the family would come forward and say, ‘You know, when Meat Loaf was in a hospital bed and couldn’t breathe, he said, ‘I made a mistake. I should have gotten the vaccine.’ Like all those anti-vaxxers, they all say ‘I made a mistake,’” Stern concluded.

Since the news of his death, Meat Loaf has received dozens of tributes on social media and his music has experienced a revival on the UK charts .
