The sad news of Meat Loaf has sparked a desire among his fans to celebrate the artist through his discography. The musician and actor passed away on January 21st, at the age of 74, and the cause of death has not yet been released.
Meat Loaf was responsible for the album Bat Out Of Hell , one of the most celebrated rock albums and a benchmark within the genre. The album is among the best-selling in the world and saw a revival of its title track last week, which climbed to 4th place on the UK charts. The previous record was 8th place, achieved in 1993.
According to Billboard , other Meat Loaf hits resurfacing on the charts are "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)," at number 7 on the First Look , and "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad," which entered the Top 20 for the first time, at number 15.
On social media, several musicians mourned Meat Loaf's death . Among them were Brian May , Slash , David Draiman , and many others.
