Mayhem guitarist Teloch posted on his social media that he is in quarantine suffering from symptoms of the new coronavirus. The group performed in the United States last month on tour for their album Daemon , released in 2019, and returned to Norway amidst the pandemic crisis.
In the post, Teloch appears wearing a mask and giving the middle finger to the camera, while in the caption he reveals how his health is: "Thank you for asking about my health and demanding that I stay home, everyone."
Then he recounts that he went to the hospital and tested positive for "a virus," but that he can't say for sure it's the new coronavirus, because in Norway, hospitals don't have enough tests to apply to everyone who presents symptoms. Therefore, they only test patients with severe symptoms of the disease, which is not the case for Teloch, and healthcare professionals.
“I’m already feeling better, so don’t feel sorry for me. But this shows that the virus doesn’t discriminate; even super nice people like me, who are worth four million, can catch this shit,” he wrote.
