On the road for several years, this tour by the Cavalera brothers revisits tracks from Sepultura's 1989 and 1991 releases, respectively, two releases of great importance to Brazilian extreme metal. In 2018, they toured Brazil with devastating performances. Relive the shows in São Paulo and Porto Alegre here.
In a recent interview on The Wikimetal Happy Hour , Max Cavalera revealed his desire to re-record Sepultura's early albums after revisiting "Antichrist" Bestial Devastation EP (1985) in the Beneath the Drums series . "You see, those old sounds are fucking good, sometimes we don't appreciate them much because of the quality, it's really bad. The recordings from the 1980s at Cogumelo [Records], the studios seemed like a spaceship to us," he said. "It even makes you want to re-record that shit, you know, man? Doing it again would be really cool."
