Max and Iggor Cavalera arrive in São Paulo this weekend for the final show in Brazil celebrating the 25th anniversary of the release of Roots , Sepultura 's classic album and a landmark in Brazilian metal. The performance takes place on Sunday the 7th at Audio, with Krisiun among the special guests.
The event features the opening band Sinaya, formed by Mylena Monaco (vocals), Helena Nagagata (guitar), Amanda Melo (bass) and Amanda Imamura (drums), who recently released the new single "Psychopath" and have been receiving praise from specialized media as one of the great female forces in the extreme music scene.
Next up, the kings of Brazilian death metal, Krisiun, bring their first show to São Paulo promoting the album Mortem Solis, released worldwide by Century Media. Formed by Moyses Kolesne (guitar), Alex Camargo (vocals, bass), and Max Kolesne (drums), Krisiun has positioned itself against a "lighter scene" within the genre.
