In an interview with an American radio station, vocalist Max Cavalera spoke about the "Return To Roots" tour, in which he and his brother Igor Cavalera perform the album "Roots" in its entirety. The tour is a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the release of "Roots."
"The album is more powerful today than when it was released, I think. Now that 20 years have passed, the songs are super classics and it will be amazing to play them live with Igor."
Max said he hopes to do the same with other albums in Sepultura's career: “I hope this idea works out, so we can make more albums. We can do it with “Arise” or “Chaos AD” and even “Morbid Visions”. I think “Morbid Visions” could be a good idea to do with Sepultura's original guitarist Jairo Guedz, because he lives in Belo Horizonte. And he would be great for it. So let's see how things go. I hope it opens doors so we can do more things like this.”
