Cavalera says he misses the beginning of the band
In an interview with Heavy Nation, vocalist and guitarist Max Cavalera said that, if it were up to him, the Sepultura would have already happened. According to Cavalera, the project depends on the rest of the band.
“I wanted to do it for the fans and for my children. As far as I was concerned, it would have already happened.” Max explains that he already called Andreas Kisser to suggest the reunion: “It’s not in my hands.”.
He says he never got to hear the band with Derrick Green and mentions that he misses Sepultura's early days: "The phase I miss is the beginning, when we were united: it was us against the world." The vocalist explained that he doesn't miss the group's peak.
