During his appearance on the 80th Wikimetal Happy Hour , Max Cavalera spoke with Nando Machado about life in the United States and admitted that he "misses Brazil a lot."

During the conversation, Cavalera spoke about his relationship with Brazilian fans, which remains one of great affection after all these years. "The feeling I have is that Brazilian fans like me a lot too," said the Sepultura . "Even today [they] have this affection for Max. It's a cool thing that I feel."

“When I do the Max Trax tour, there’s always some Brazilian [saying] ‘Speak Portuguese, damn it!’ and I always have to say hi to the guys in Portuguese. I’m very proud, man. There’s no Max Cavalera Avenue yet, but one of these days it will happen. I think I have to die first,” he joked.

During the chat, Max Cavalera also spoke about the debut album of Go Ahead And Die – a project by the musician in partnership with his son, Igor Cavalera stating that the intention was to allow a "return to the roots" and a nod to the 80s.
