The duo criticizes the president-elect
In an interview with Impact in Budapest during the Return To Roots tour, the Cavalera brothers were asked what they thought of the outcome of the American election, which elected Donald Trump.
Max commented: “Trump is the biggest joke that ever existed. That guy is a liar and corrupt. I don’t know… He really screwed over a lot of people during his life and I think he’s going to do a lot of bad things.”
The path the US is taking now doesn't look good. There's a lot of anger. It's very bad. I think it's going to be a very tough four years. Because I think Obama was a great president. People don't give him much credit, but he did a lot of good things.
Igor also spoke out: “For me, the biggest mistake was letting him run. With his history, he shouldn't even have been able to get elected. And now look where we are. So… These are sad times, I think.”
