Maturí formed in 2020, inspired by sounds ranging from diverse national references to musical languages ​​from North Africa. Always with jazz as a backdrop, the band finds itself within the musical definition of Fusion.

The group is preparing to release the album Veneno do Veneno , which has already had two singles sampled, "Beco dos Coco" and "À Esquerda" – listen at the end of this article.

According to the band itself, the repertoire is a mix of original compositions and covers of jazz, blues, funk and rock classics, such as James Brown, Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Carlos Santana.

Maturí is made up of Tony Karpa (drums), Maurício Zucarelli (guitar), Gustavo Neves (bass) and Hélio Pisca (keyboards).
