The lead singer of Trivium has been releasing covers of a wide variety of musical genres.

Matt Heafy is taking an unusual path in his YouTube videos. After doing covers of Britney Spears and Seal , fans of the Trivium expected not to be surprised by his new material.

But this time, Heafy decided to delve deeper into pop music and perform big hits from the late 1990s. “I Want It That Way” by the Backstreet Boys and “Tearin' Up My Heart” by *NSYNC were chosen to receive a heavy metal makeover.

Among the unusual videos of the vocalist, Trivium is preparing to go on tour in North America to promote the album The Sin and the Sentence , released in October 2017.
