The lead singer said that his wife, daughters, and father also tested positive for the disease.

Matt Heafy , lead singer of Trivium , tested positive for COVID-19, according to a post he made last Sunday, the 4th.

The 35-year-old vocalist said that he, his wife, and their two-year-old twin daughters also contracted the virus. He shared a photo of the result on Instagram and captioned it saying that he and his wife were vaccinated and their symptoms are mild, "it feels like a common cold."

However, the musician also shared that his father tested positive for COVID-19 and is not doing well. "My father didn't get vaccinated and has been recovering for 12 weeks from lung, heart, and liver problems."

To the delight of fans, the vocalist said he should be fine "in a day or two" and confirmed that he will do the live stream on Twitch , as he has been doing since the beginning of the pandemic. He does live streams almost every day of the week.
