Matanza Ritual released the single “Rei Morto” accompanied by a music video that you can watch at the end of this article.
The single features three guest appearances: Fernando Oliveira (resonator and trumpet, who plays alongside Jimmy London in the band Jimmy & Rats ), João Nogueira ( Mastodon , keyboards and synthesizer) and May Puertas ( Torture Squad , on backing vocals).
Speaking about the song, vocalist Jimmy London commented in a statement released to the press: “It’s a song to digest slowly, that goes to many places. The single is practically a mini-album and shows a lot of what Matanza Ritual is all about.”.
The statement explains the concept of the music as "that person who gives advice on everything, who has a personality for every everyday situation, the infamous 'king of the world' type.".
