The band Matanza Ritual has announced another edition of its festivals where it will perform as the main attraction. The festival, now itinerant, is scheduled to return to Porto Alegre on October 25th at Bar Opinião and will also feature the local band Comunidade Nin-Jitsu and the Minas Gerais band Black Pantera .

Currently, Matanza Ritual consists of vocalist Jimmy London , bassist Felipe Andreoli ( Angra ), guitarist Antônio Araújo , and drummer Amílcar Christofáro ( Torture Squad ). The setlist is sure to include great classics and hits such as "Morte Súbita," "Sujeito Amargo," and "Rei Morto."

In a statement, Jimmy London commented: “Another year facing the challenge of putting together, managing, and delivering a completely independent festival, 100% made by a band. This may have become one of my biggest projects in life, the Matanza Ritual Fest. And only my more than generous audience can guarantee a positive outcome in this endeavor, so I know I will lack nothing…”.

Tickets for the festival are in the third batch and can be purchased through Sympla or without a convenience fee at the Planeta Surf store in Bourbon Wallig (Av. Assis Brasil, 2611 – Store 249) starting at R$95.
