Matanza Ritual and Massacration will reunite for the Mata e Amassa – The Crazy World Tour in 2024.
The first dates have already been confirmed: Curitiba will host the duo on March 2nd at Ópera de Arame , and on March 3rd it's Porto Alegre's turn, at URB Stage . Tickets are on sale for both cities. Other joint performances will be announced soon by the production company Top Link Music.
With his usual good humor, Massacration's vocalist, Detonator , commented on the event: “From time to time, Massacration does a charity show, sharing the stage with underprivileged bands from Brazil. We've already done this with Angra and Sepultura, who exploded in popularity after our help. This time, we're going to give an opportunity to… Matança is the name, right? That's how we are, what can we do? We like to help.”
Jimmy London , the voice and face of Matanza Ritual, also commented on the tour: “Despite their age and somewhat loose hands, Massacration remains the greatest band in the world, without a doubt. After all, the other bands ran away after hearing Detonator sing. All I can say is that it's going to be immense suffering, and I just hope it brings in a lot of money…”.
