New album will succeed Emperor of Sand (2017)
Mastodon has returned to the studio and is preparing new material for an upcoming album, according to drummer and vocalist Brann Dailor .
The musician posted a photo on Instagram of his drum kit and guitarist Bill Kelliher in the studio with the caption: “New music? Yes.”
The publication shows that Mastodon is ahead of schedule, as Dailor recently said they would return to the studio in early 2019. The work will succeed Emperor of Sand , released in 2017.
