New album to be released in June
Mastodon today released a new song, " High Road ," which will be part of their upcoming album, "Once More Round The Sun." The new CD, produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Deftones, Rush, Alice in Chains), will be released in June.
The band's vocalist, Troy Sanders, commented on the sound and recording of the new album: “It's pure, authentic Mastodon. The album follows the sound of The Hunter (2011). We recorded it and then took it with us on tour. Then we went back to rehearsing and working on new ideas. I had a lot of time to digest this album and realized it's very solid. I'm very proud of the guys.”
