Masterplan returns with new single “Rise Again” and tour; check it out here.

The epic "Rise Again" is now available on major streaming platforms, accompanied by a music video.

Masterplan shared the release of the powerful track “Rise Again” last Friday, the 26th, which also seems to be a promise of a new album.

Before the new single, Masterplan had also released a re-release of their self-titled 2003 debut album Masterplan AFM Records . The German power metal band is back in full force, including participating in an extensive European tour with Firewind .

Former Helloween guitarist and founding member Roland Grapow reveals ( via BraveWords ) the reason for their return:

“After almost a decade of silence, we are ready to re-enter the heavy metal scene. We missed the audience and new emotions. This song is about how we felt during this last period. Everything in the world changes so quickly that sometimes it's very difficult to understand your place in it. And it seems like you are talented and worthy of success, but you start to doubt yourself. And that's a big mistake.”

The guitarist concludes:

“As always, and in true Masterplan style, we try to be positive, and that’s the main goal of our creativity. We want to inspire our fans to find the strength to overcome life’s challenges. ‘Rise Again’ is a song about hope, life, and better things to come; it’s like a phoenix rising from the ashes.”
