In this week's Wikimetal poll, "Master Of Puppets" was voted the best Metallica , with 32% of the votes. "Ride The Lightning" and the "Black Album" came in second and third place, with 22% and 18% respectively.
"Master of Puppets" was Metallica's third album and the last to feature Cliff Burton on bass. Released in 1986, it was the first Thrash Metal CD to receive a Platinum certification.
