At least 19 people died and more than 20 were injured in a massacre at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, on Saturday.
A white man in his twenties was arrested and is in the custody of local police.
Blink-182 was scheduled to play at the Don Haskins Center on Sunday, the 4th, when they were alerted to the situation. Mark Hoppus, bassist and vocalist of the band, wrote on Twitter:
“We are trapped in our hotel in El Paso. Over the loudspeaker system, they announced that there is a shooting happening across the street.”
“We were finishing breakfast when our security guard alerted us. We saw dozens of police cars arriving. Helicopters.”

President Donald Trump also commented via Twitter:
"Terrible shooting in El Paso, Texas. The reports are very bad, many dead. Working with local and state authorities. I spoke with the Governor to give full support from the federal government. God be with you all."
