The greatest band in the universe, Massacration , returns to Curitiba for a single performance, now at a new venue due to high ticket demand and aiming to offer more comfort to fans of these true gods of Metal: the Ópera de Arame. The show takes place on October 7th (Friday) and will feature the greatest hits from a career spanning more than two decades.
Tickets already purchased remain valid; no exchange is necessary. Sales continue as normal, with tickets starting at R$90 (general admission/half-price), both on the Bilheto and at physical points of sale.
In their setlist, the good-humored band created by the group Hermes e Renato will present songs from the albums Gates of Metal Fried Chicken of Death (2005) and Good Blood Headbangers (2009), in addition to their most recent singles that have been very successful with the public, such as the unforgettable “Metal Milf”, “Motormetal” and “Metal Galera”.
Massacration originated as a sketch on the comedy show Hermes e Renato , on MTV, in the early 2000s. With its success, the sketch turned into a band – much like the fictional group Spinal Tap – released albums, and became the most respected metal horde of all time.

About Massacration
Massacration is a Brazilian heavy metal band created by members of the comedy group Hermes e Renato . The sketch in which they appeared became hugely popular and created a legion of fans, which led the group to perform live on stage. In 2005, they released their first CD, produced by former VJ João Gordo ( Ratos de Porão ), called Gates of Metal Fried Chicken of Death , on Deckdisc , which sold over 50,000 copies and received a gold record, establishing it as one of the best-selling heavy metal albums in Brazil of all time.
The second album came in 2009: Good Blood Headbangers, produced by Roy Z ( Bruce Dickinson , Judas Priest , Helloween , Sepultura ), whose highlights are the singles and music videos "The Bull" and "The Mummy". In 2016 they reunited for an advertising campaign with McDonald's , winning an award for best product or service launch campaign in partnership with the agency DM9DDB , for the launch of McDonald's Brazil's Grand Pedido.
With their return to the stage duly announced, they recorded the live DVD Live Metal Espancation , filmed at a packed Tropical Butantã in São Paulo. Massacration consists of the characters Detonator (vocals), Metal Avenger (guitar), Headmaster (guitar), Redhead Hammet (bass and guitar), and Jimmy The Hammer (drums).
