Wikimetal recently launched a campaign to raise funds for the Invisible Backstage , which helps professionals in the events industry such as roadies, security guards, sound and lighting technicians, cleaning staff, ticket sellers, and others.

The idea behind the campaign was to sell face masks to protect against the coronavirus and donate all the profits to Backstage Invisivel .

People who purchased the masks would also receive additional masks free of charge to share with their friends and family.

A win-win-win idea: The backstage professionals, who were so affected by the cancellation of events during the pandemic, all benefit.

The winners are the people who, in addition to contributing to a noble cause, received free masks. And the professionals at the mask factory, which received a large-scale order from Wikimetal, also win.

“When we launched the campaign, we set a goal to distribute 100 masks,” says Wikimetal founder Nando Machado . “But we never imagined the campaign would be so successful!”

Rock and metal fans joined the movement, and Wikimetal had to produce and distribute more than 500 masks, including those purchased by fans and those donated.

The coordinator of the Invisible Backstage , Lazzaro Jesus , issued a note of thanks:

"I would like to express my gratitude for the contribution of ForMusic Invisible Backstage campaign . The generous donation made by these companies will have a great impact on helping distribute basic food baskets."

On behalf of Backstage Invisivel , I want to thank you for helping us make a significant positive difference in the lives of professionals who are currently unemployed. Your support fuels our continued commitment to our goal. Again, thank you for your generosity and support.
