Marty Friedman lives in Japan
Former Megadeth Marty Friedman was invited by the Japanese government to compose a song. The song was performed by Friedman and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
Friedman says: “It was a thrill and an honor to be asked by the Japanese government to compose this piece of music. It will be played and performed at official events from now on. As a foreigner living in Tokyo, I always appreciate the courteous treatment I have received here and welcome this kind of responsibility.”.
