The São Paulo-based group Mars Addict, formed in 2018, already has two EPs released: Starter Pack (2018) and Drix Goes to Italy (2019), and the single “Snowboarding With My Dealer” (2018). Now, the band has just released their first album, Lamecoaster .
His new work is based on two pillars: the intensity of punk bands like Ramones , Rancid , Inocentes , Flicts , and the melody of bands from the origins of rock'n'roll, like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones .
The repertoire was created from the band's inception, composed by guitarists and vocalists Daniel Capanga and Drix Barsali , and arranged with the support of bassist Rolf Amaro and drummer Rodrigo Araújo .
The band has already had the pleasure of playing in classic venues of the São Paulo scene such as Feeling Music Bar , Jay Club and Underground Club , and others like the Fábrica de Cultura Garage Sounds festival in Santos.
There are ten tracks ranging from the dance rhythms of the 60s, as in "Scared 2" and "Snowboarding With My Dealer," to the hardcore of "One Heartbeat," an anthem for unity and tolerance.
