Marko Hietala , former bassist and vocalist of Nightwish, has released the new single "Rebel Of The North," showcasing his talent as both bassist and vocalist. The track will be part of the new album Roses From The Deep , scheduled for release on February 7th.
The album will be available in CD Jewelcase and 2 LP gatefold formats, oxblood red. Pre-order it here.
According to Hietala (via Bravewords ), the song is "about reimagining yourself, reinventing yourself and becoming a new, better self." The message is about not stagnating, "that leads to becoming boring."
