The video is a beautiful tribute to the late Linkin Park vocalist

Perhaps the standout track on Mark Morton , Anesthetic – released last Friday, the 1st – is "Cross Off". The collaboration between the Lamb of God and Chester Bennington , the late vocalist of Linkin Park , navigates between the best of rock and heavy metal, showcasing Morton's incredible talent while featuring Bennington's much-missed vocals.

“Cross Off” is about battling one's own demons and dealing with mental health, extremely important themes that have recently been addressed by artists in the music world and other arts. In the newly released music video, director Roboshobo uses the image of an invisible character fighting against a man who is dealing with his own problems.

The images are mixed with live footage of Mark Morton playing alongside Paolo Gregoletto and Alex Bent of Trivium, and a lone microphone, without any vocalist to use it, paying homage to the voice of music, Chester Bennington. Morton's message is clear: Chester is irreplaceable, and he lost the battle against his own demons. Watch the clip below.

Anesthetic also features appearances by Myles Kennedy , Jacoby Shaddix , Alissa White-Gluz , and more. Listen to the album here.
