Mark Hoppus injures his knee but confirms blink-182's show in Latin America.

The band is expected to come to Lollapalooza Brazil in March as part of their Latin American tour.

In a Discord post, Mark Hoppus revealed that he injured his knee during a show in Sydney. Blink -182 is currently touring Australia, just weeks before heading to Latin America, which includes a show at Lollapalooza Brazil in March.

According to him, the diagnosis is a sprain, and this shouldn't affect the shows in South America, which remain confirmed. He even joked about having canceled shows in Latin America before and fans expecting another cancellation, even after a video of Tom DeLonge guaranteeing the tour.

“We’re still going to play in South America. Didn’t the video of Tom being held hostage ease your fears? I understand. We’ve never been there. Travis broke his finger. People will believe it when we get to the country.”

In the messages, Mark explained that during the first show in Sydney, he stepped on a cable and slipped, which caused him to limp during the second show. The musician saw a doctor, who advised him to rest and ice the area until he recovered, which could take two weeks to months, depending on the severity of the injury.
