In a recent interview with The Sun, vocalist Marilyn Manson spoke about various topics.
“I’ve always disapproved of the idea of suicide. Not to be derogatory, but I think it’s something that affects too many other people. I’m not saying this because of [Chris] Cornell or [Chester] Bennington, just to be clear. I’ve never tried to kill myself, because I’d be good at it.”.
Manson continues: “I grew up listening to Soundgarden, but I always thought Linkin Park sounded like a cross between The Backstreet Boys and Korn—it wasn’t for me. But then I did some shows with them, hung out with them. I think I was the first one to take them to a strip club—but I’m not sure .
Marilyn Manson is the godfather of Lily Rose, daughter of actor Johnny Depp, with whom he made the recent videos for SAY10 and KILL4ME , and also spoke about the possibility of having children:
"Seeing Johnny [Depp] raise two children who are so intelligent and so happy in a world where their father is always in the spotlight is admirable.".
“This gives me hope because I’ve always worried about not being around enough to have my own children. Not that I would be irresponsible or leave absinthe spilled on the floor, but I’m still not sure if it’s right to raise a child in my world.”.
