In an interview with Dazed magazine, Marilyn Manson spoke about his upcoming album, "Say10," which will be released on February 14th. Check out his statement:
"It is, as I would say, the last thing people would expect after the last album, 'The Pale Emperor.' It is also, and this is because of the musicians who played on it, a combination of 'Antichrist Superstar' and 'Mechanical Animals.'".
I generally prefer to get advice from girls rather than guys, because you make music for girls to like you. That's why you start a band. It's inspired by everything you do to make girls like you, all the passion and melodic splendor. Like Bowie, but with a disregard for the rules, like Ministry or all the bands that inspired the first album I made.
"It wasn't my intention to go backwards. Everything completes a cycle and simply unfolds. I'm a little too eager to launch it, so everything was done very quickly, but it's by far the most thematic and complicated work I've ever done. In the end, it's deceptively delightful for outsiders."
