A year after Evan Rachel Wood named Marilyn Manson as her abuser and reported a series of physical, psychological, and sexual abuses, the singer is now suing the actress for fraud, conspiracy, and defamation.
According to TMZ , Marilyn Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner , is accusing Rachel Wood and her partner, Ilma Gore , of plotting to destroy his career.
Among the accusations is the allegation that Wood and Gore sent mass emails to people who had been romantically involved with Manson in the past, convincing them that they had been abused by the singer and that their memories were blocked by trauma.
He also alleges that the pair created fake email accounts impersonating him and sent pornographic material and threatening language to fabricate digital evidence, in addition to hacking his personal computer files, his social media accounts, and using his social security number without permission.
Marilyn Manson also accuses Wood and Gore of forging a letter written by an FBI agent that stated: “Please be aware that Ms. Evan Rachel Wood is a key witness in a criminal investigation in Los Angeles, California, involving a well-known international public figure. The safety of Ms. Wood, her family, other victims, and their families is of utmost importance during this time.”
Manson's accusations come after the release of the trailer for the documentary Phoenix Rising , which premieres on HBO on March 15 and promises to detail Evan Rachel Wood's version of the alleged abuse committed against her by the singer.
