Marilyn Manson: Sexual abuse lawsuit against singer is dismissed.

Ashley Morgan Smithline's lawsuit may be brought to court again.

A sexual abuse lawsuit against Marilyn Manson has been dismissed. The case was brought by model Ashley Morgan Smithline and was initiated in 2021.

Brian Warner 's (Manson's real name) ex-girlfriend , accused him of sexual assault, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, unlawful imprisonment, and more , all of which, according to her, occurred when they were dating between 2010 and 2012. Warner denied all the accusations.

The model is one of 15 women who have filed similar accusations against the singer. According to information from The Los Angeles Times and confirmed by Pitchfork , Ashley did not present "adequate legal representation within the stipulated timeframe."

Last October, Jay Ellwanger stopped representing Ashley, and the judge gave her two months to find new representation or decide whether to represent herself. Ashley did not present a solution, and the case was then dismissed. The case can be reopened in court if Ashley finds new representation.

Howard King, Warner's lawyer, wrote in a statement to Pitchfork : "We thank and commend Ashley Smithline for rejecting her claims against Brian Warner without seeking or receiving anything in return."

“We wish her well and will continue to work to ensure that a significant price is paid by those who have attempted to abuse our legal system.”

Meanwhile, Warner is facing a federal lawsuit from actress Esmé Bianco , who accused the musician of sexual assault . Warner, again, denied the allegations.

Furthermore, Warner is suing Evan Rachel Wood for defamation after she publicly named him as her abuser in early 2021 and went on to detail her alleged experiences in the documentary Phoenix Rising.

In May of last year, the Los Angeles Superior Court also dismissed another lawsuit filed by a woman who had worked as Warner's assistant. She accused him of sexual assault and harassment.
