Marilyn Manson's new album will feature a collaboration with country singer Shooter Jennings
Marilyn Manson confirmed in an interview that he already has half of his new album ready. Another revelation is the participation of country singer Shooter Jennings on the successor to Heaven Upside Down , from 2017.
Manson explained: “I felt it was a good time for a change. I became friends with Shooter. And he’s a musical genius. He reminds me of the guy from The Big Lebowski … But we have this different vibe where I don’t have to tell him what I’m thinking. I didn’t know this, but he was a fan of what I was doing when he was growing up.”
According to Marilyn, the basis for the new album is a mix between Bowie 's Diamond Dog and the band Killing Joke .
