The musician died at age 49
The founder and former guitarist of the band Marilyn Manson died after battling cancer for four years.
Daisy Berkowitz was largely responsible for the success of the band that began its career under the name Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids.
Musician Marilyn Manson posted a photo of himself with his partner on his social media with the following message:
“Scott Putesky [the guitarist's real name] and I made great music together. We had our differences over the years, but I will always remember the good times. Everyone should listen to 'Man That You Fear' in his honor. It was our favorite song.”
