The sexual abuse case against Marilyn Manson has "new leads and additional evidence" to analyze, according to the prosecution.

George Gascón, regional prosecutor, revealed last Wednesday, the 9th, that the investigation against Brian Warner , Manson's real name, is in the hands of the sex crimes division (via Rolling Stone ).

“It is the responsibility of our office to ensure that we have a complete picture of the admissible evidence available before making a decision to close the case,” said Gascón.

He continued: “Senior team members met with the victims, and our prosecutors remain in contact with the victims and their representatives throughout the process.”

Gascón said he is seeking to reach a decision soon and will announce it as soon as possible. "At that time, I hope to meet with the victims to discuss how my office can continue to support them."

So far, Warner has denied all allegations.

Sexual abuse allegations against the musician

Actress Evan Rachel Wood testified in April 2019 before a committee in California, denouncing and revealing details of an abusive relationship she had with Manson years earlier .

In addition to Wood's accusation, the singer was also accused by actress Esmé Bianco, known for her role in the series Game of Thrones, who sued him for sexual, emotional, and physical abuse in 2021. However, the actress's lawyer stated that a settlement was reached allowing her to move on with her life and career.

Another woman to accuse Manson was his former personal assistant, Ashley Walters. She claims that in 2010, during their first meeting, he tried to pin her to the bed to kiss her, bit her ear, and placed her hand on his private parts. She also spoke about the musician's drug-fueled rages, which included physical violence. She added that Manson routinely encouraged, promoted, and expected her to 'please' his friends in the way they wanted, resulting in her being sexually harassed by his acquaintances.

During the year that Walters worked for Manson, he also told her at one point that he wanted to kill women, that he had gotten away with raping women, and that he had the ability to "destroy lives."
