New details about Evan Rachel Wood 's documentary Phoenix Rising have been revealed by Insider and the New York Post . According to the outlets, a segment from the second part of the film will discuss an abortion the actress underwent while pregnant with Marilyn Manson's child .
According to Rachel Wood, the singer didn't seem to care about the traumatic experience she went through and asked her to "make dinner" for him right after the procedure. The episode reportedly happened while the actress was filming the HBO miniseries , Mildred Pierce .
“He took a flight to get an abortion. I was very sad and scared,” Evan Rachel Wood recounts in the documentary. “I obviously believe a woman has the right to choose, but that doesn’t mean it’s not devastating… The moment it was over he said, ‘Make my dinner.’ And I remember arguing, ‘I should be resting – my body has been through a traumatic experience, there are consequences here.’ And he didn’t care.”
According to the actress, Marilyn Manson "refused to use condoms" during their relationship and constantly engaged in sexual acts with her without her consent.
“He wanted sex on demand, and saying no would cause more problems. You don’t have time to use contraception when someone is penetrating you while you sleep or if they’ve given you a pill that makes you pass out,” says Rachel Wood.
This is yet another account of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse that Evan Rachel Wood alleges she suffered during her relationship with Brian Warner , or as he is better known, Marilyn Manson.
The documentary Phoenix Rising premieres on HBO in two parts on March 16.
