Last Wednesday, the 29th, Marilyn Manson released a new single and announced his new album , both with the same title: We Are Chaos . Amidst so much news, internet users noticed a possible reference in the promotional photos to the artist's new phase.
In one of the images, Manson appears with one hand covering his face, with space between his fingers to reveal his eyes, a gesture known as the Left Hand Path , frequently adopted by the black metal band UADA .
“Recently we’ve been noticing similarities found between Ihsahn and the cover of Taylor Swift . Yesterday we were alerted to a resemblance between the presence of our characteristic 'Left Hand Path' and Marilyn Manson’s new promotional photo. Coincidence or do you think mainstream artists are paying attention to the underground scene?”, the band questioned on their social media.
