Yesterday, the actress and former partner of Marilyn Manson , Evan Rachel Wood , admitted that the musician abused her for years since adolescence. And Wood's voice was not the only one, being supported by several women who had similar experiences with Manson, who in turn denied the accusations.
“Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent accusations against me are horrific distortions of reality,” he writes on social media. “My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how – and why – others are now choosing to distort the past, that is the truth.”
The accusations made by Evan and other women who came forward involved physical and psychological violence, ranging from torture to death threats. These accusations were so serious that they resulted in the cancellation of Manson's contract by his record label, Loma Vista Recordings , which also stated that it does not intend to work with the artist on any other projects in the future.
