The track will be part of a new soundtrack, this time for the new X-Men movie

Released 31 years ago, The Lost Boys was one of the films responsible for popularizing vampire movies, becoming a classic of 1980s horror. Like the film itself, the soundtrack was also a huge success, featuring "Cry Little Sister," a composition by Gerard McMahon that has now been given a new version by Marilyn Manson .

The track will complete the singer's long and excellent list of covers – from "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" and "Tainted Love" to "The KKK Took My Baby Away" and "This Is Halloween" – and will be part of the soundtrack for the upcoming X-Men movie, titled New Mutants .

The film will only be released in August 2019, but Manson is already preparing the music video that will accompany the track and should be released soon. In the meantime, listen to the cover of "Cry Little Sister" below.
