Recently, an unidentified victim reopened a lawsuit against Marilyn Manson for rape and threats after appealing a court decision to dismiss it. As a condition, new details about the accusations had to be added, since the crime allegedly occurred in 2011.
The process was described as a "late discovery" justified by the victim's repression of memories due to trauma, and in one of the new details, the woman in question claims that the singer revealed he planned to kill his ex-girlfriend, Evan Rachel Wood , while they were still in a relationship.
According to SPIN , the unidentified victim reportedly told the prosecutor about an incident in which Manson "tied Ms. Wood to a chair and pointed a gun at her." The victim further stated that the singer "considered killing Ms. Wood, but decided to be merciful."
In response to the accusations, Evan Rachel Wood used her social media to encourage public outcry against the Los Angeles Police Department to take action on the case. “If you are outraged by the lack of action from law enforcement, please call the district attorney, the attorney general, the Los Angeles Police Department, your local representatives and ask 'What is being done about Brian Warner ?' We need to keep pressuring them. We need your help.”
In February, Evan Rachel Wood named Brian Warner (Marilyn Manson) as her abuser and detailed episodes of physical, sexual, and psychological violence , as well as denouncing racist and Nazi acts by the singer. Since then, numerous victims have come forward to denounce similar abuses committed by Manson, with episodes involving torture and encouragement of suicide .
