The accusation came from his ex-girlfriend.
Marilyn Manson's bassist, Jeordie "Twiggy Ramirez" White, has been accused of rape by Jack Off Jill vocalist Jessicka Addams.
In a Facebook post, Jessicka reveals that she was raped by the bassist in the 90s when she was only 18 years old and they were dating.
She recounts that Twiggy once visited her at her friend Pete's apartment and forced her to lie on the floor while holding her by the neck. “I said NO. I said NO. I spoke so loudly that Pete ran into the room to see what was happening. But I had already been raped. I had been raped by someone I thought I loved ,” she writes.
Jessicka explains why she waited to tell her story, “The record label feared that the machine behind Marilyn Manson would use its power to not only destroy Jack Off Jill but also my name. The pressure and guilt that would surround me, with the consequences affecting my bandmates, kept me silent for many years .
Manson released a statement commenting on the allegations: “I knew that Jessicka and Jeordie had a romantic relationship years ago and I considered and still consider Jessicka a friend. I was not aware of these allegations until recently and I am saddened by the distress she is carrying .
Twiggy left Manson's band in 2002 and returned six years later. He has not yet publicly commented on the allegations.
