Marilyn Manson has just announced his new album, One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1 , along with the track “Sacrilegious.” The album will contain 9 songs and is scheduled for release on November 22nd via Nuclear Blast .
News of the new album was already expected with the release of two new songs and a comeback tour alongside Five Finger Death Punch .
This will be the artist's first album released after multiple accusations of sexual, physical, and psychological assault that began in 2021 , leading to his dismissal from his former label, Loma Vista Recordings . The artist's last album, We Are Chaos , was released in 2020, months before the accusations began.
Manson debuted his new band with returning members Tyler Bates (guitar) and Gil Sharone (drums), with the addition of new faces Reba Meyers , from Code Orange , and Piggy D , formerly of Rob Zombie (bass). Bates is the producer and co-writer of the new album.
